JMC Interior Systems were awarded the contract to install all the walls and ceilings in The Primary Helathcare, Wicklow Town.

We built the metal stud frames for the walls and ceilings. We then plastered and skim finished the entire interior of the building.

There were many curved walls and ceilings in the building that required a specialised technique to create and finish them to a high standard.

JMC Interior Systems Ltd carried out a home extension at Springfield Court. The client wanted to extend their living room to create a bright and airy open space leading out to their garden.

We knocked down the downstairs back wall of the house and extended into the garden. We put a sloped ceiling into the extended space which allowed two large veluxes to be fitted providing lots of natural light.

We integrated numerous bookshelves into the walls and recessed the radiator into the wall also to create a flush, seamless finish. This also created much more space in the room, by creating lots of storage without the need for additional furniture.

In the hall we even created a dogs house under the stairs!

    Integrated Stove

Our client’s brief was to replace their original fireplace with an integrated stove, along with wood storage underneath.

We created a recess into the wall for both the stove and the wood storage. This was then finished with fireproof plasterboard and plaster finished.

The result was a sleek, modern fireplace which the clients were very pleased with.

Here we did a retrofit on the kitchen / diner of this house.

We pulled down the walls between the kitchen and dining room and also between the kitchen and utility room to make it all one big open space. We had to add a steel beam in the middle of the new kitchen which we concealed between the ceiling and upper floor. We replastered the walls and ceilings, put in new radiators and added more ceiling lights. The old kitchen units were painted and a new countertop put in.

We added recessed shelving into a nook in the kitchen to allow for more storage and it also created a nice feature.
